A political initiative in 1998 was made in Georgia (USA) when the
governor, Zell Miller, promoted a plan of 105.000$ which allowed
every born kid to listen to classical music to let them increase their
brain during their growth. The plan was commissioned to Yoel
Levi, music director of Atlanta Symphony.
A new study was made, focused on curing epilepsy using classical
music. In 23 of 29 patients with focal discharges or bursts of gen-
eralized spike and wave complexes who listened to the Mozart
piano sonata K448 there was a significant decrease in epileptiform
activity as shown by the electroencephalogram results (available
on NHS).
With this spin, more studies were allowed in universities to sort
out also other partial cure on Autism and related diseases.
In conclusion, all the power of music is still unknown, and what we
know it's pure gold for social and medical aspects.
